Melissa Kelly is a Secondary Educator with 13 years experience both in the traditional classroom and the online environment.
Experience:
Melissa taught in the traditional classroom for seven years as a Secondary School Social Studies teacher. She has had experience with all levels of students, teaching both in Co-Teach situations and also as an Advanced Placement teacher. She has also taught almost every Social Studies course imaginable. She has an additional seven years in online education as an online teacher and a course developer with the Florida Virtual School.Melissa is also the author of four books including the Everything Guide for New Teachers and the upcoming 180 Tips and Tricks for Teachers, both from Adams Media.
Education:
Melissa holds a B.A. in History and an M.Ed in Instruction and Curriculum from the University of Florida.
